My dad came for a visit yesterday, and, unfortunately, he wasn't able to stay very long. If you ask Nate, he would say that he wished Grandpa had been able to stay longer, but that his moustache was more than welcome to leave. He was quite leery of that moustache. Dad said that whenever he was holding him, Nate wouldn't take his eyes off of it. I think he was trying to decide if it was harmless or if it was in fact going to jump off Dad's face and eat him.

Recently I bought a Moby Wrap, which looks really complicated, as it's just a really long piece of fabric that you wrap around your body to create a sling, but is actually really comfortable. Nate has been really liking his sling again, but he's getting a little big for it, so I thought he might like this. And boy does he!

The top teeth have emerged! And again, two at once!

...where you feel like you could do anything? I love those days.

I'm FINALLY starting to feel better, and I thought we could celebrate with a few pictures of Nate!

We are now on Day 5 of "The Longest Cold/Flu In History". I can't remember the last time I felt this sick for this long. Last night I thought I had turned a corner, but today I'm back to feeling really terrible.
Every night I have just prayed to God to please keep Nate healthy. For him to come down with whatever this is that I have would be really bad.
Yesterday was my birthday, and it wasn't one of my best. I spent the majority of the day in bed, feeling very, very sick. I thought Nate had given me his croup, but the doctor said probably not, considering my symptoms. I feel like I was in a car accident - my whole entire body feels sore and swollen. I have a terrible headache. My throat and my ears hurt. Now, I can imagine that just having one of these things can make you feel pretty awful. Let me assure you that having all of them definitely makes you feel pretty awful.
Thank goodness I have such a great husband who was able to work from home yesterday and take care of Nate, because I really felt like I could hardly function yesterday. It was rough.
So here's hoping today I feel a little better and that next year's birthday is sickness-free!
I got pooped on, on my birthday. Nothing says "Happy Birthday" like a little poop from your son.
