We haven’t found a house in Dallas yet, but I already have a bunch of ideas swirling around my little brain about things I want to do to the new place once we get there. I know we are going to set up a playroom for Nate, and that is the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw these clothespin bags on sale at my grocery store for $0.10 (yes, a dime!):

I already have a nice clothespin bag I use when hanging my laundry outside, so I immediately started thinking of other uses for them. I think I might hang little hooks on one wall of his playroom where I can hang these bags. He can then store smaller toys like blocks, Matchbox cars, Army men, or Mr. Potato Head pieces in them. They will keep all those smaller bits contained and the opening in the bag will hopefully make it easy for him to reach in and grab things as well as to put them away when he’s finished playing.
But there are so many possibilities. I could also use them in our master closet to hold my small wallets, coin purses, and makeup bags. I could also use them to hold small, delicate items that could easily get snagged in our dresser, like pantyhose. I think there could be a lot of uses for these little things.
I bought five of these bags, so I’m excited about the new, flexible storage options I’m going to have. Now, if we could just find a new home where these bad boys will be hanging out, that would be fantastic.

Great idea Courtney!
What a great idea. I already use clothes PINS for tons of stuff (chip clips, magnets attached on the back for pinchy clips on the frig, as paper clips, etc…)
But the clothespin BAG! What a great idea! Never thought of that.
THANKS! So happy to have found your site through Domestic Cents.
Happy Weekend.
