New houses and Grandpa bloggers

So very sorry I’ve been a little M.I.A. lately (“missing in action”, not M.I.A. the musician who named her newborn son Ikhyd.  Yes, Ikhyd.)  Things have been a little busy around here.  We went to Dallas for Memorial Day weekend, had a wonderful time, and found a house we really, really like.  This house purchase would be done for sale by owner, so right know we are in contact with the owner, hoping to get everything settled and negotiated soon.  The last few days I’ve been calling and talking with home inspectors and pool inspectors so they can go over and take a look at the house to make sure it’s in tip-top shape.  I will keep the updates coming, but please keep your fingers crossed that everything goes off without a hitch! 

And now that we have found a new place this means that we need to get our house on the market very, very soon.  So I’ve also been busy around here trying to get this place show-ready.  Yep, I’ve got my hands full!  So while I’m busy working on all of that my blogging may be a little sporadic.   

I also wanted to share with you my father-in-law’s blog.  He absolutely loves being a Grandpa (or a Baba, in his case), and he just adores Nate.  They are so cute together, and as his latest blog post shows, they both had a pretty fun time this past weekend.
