A big thank you to my husband for passing this along to me and totally making my day…this is hilarious!
And now I pass it along to you, but I especially want to dedicate it to two people: 1. My mother-in-law, who uses the phrase “That’s what she said” way more than any mother-in-law should, and 2. My blog friend Elizabeth (who I’ve actually never met since I live in Texas and she lives in Virginia, but who I still consider my friend because she’s really smart and wickedly funny), who declared on Facebook that for Lent she’s giving up saying “That’s what she said.”

Just in case you can’t read it, apparently student Dalten Duncan got detention for the following reason: “Another student made the comment you need to push it in further (innocent comment) and Dalten added “that’s what she said.” Way to go, Dalten.

That is so funny!!! I know, I will try to control myself a little better. My problem is that I think I still see funny things as an 18year old. Then I take a peak in the mirror and get reminded that was over 30 years ago.
I will try to be more grandmotherly in the future. (I did say I would “try”) I Love you Courtney, you are the best and I have really missed the blog while you guys were sick!!!!!
LOVE IT!
Nice. I saw this on Facebook and it is sort of what prompted me to give them up for Lent. I feared for my children what growing up with me as a parent would do to them. Sure, it’s rude and disrespectful, but you gotta admit, it kind of makes you want to give the kid a high five…
