A few months ago I met a new friend, Misty. We met through a local meeting of Dallas area creatives (why I was there, I have no idea!), and we instantly clicked. She has just recently started her photography business as well, so we had a lot to talk about.
She graciously offered to take pictures of me and the boys, and when she sent them to me, I fell in love! Misty, thank you!!

Beautiful pictures! The angles of Misty’s shots are interesting and different… I like them. I especially love the bronze finish shots!! How do you get that “antique bronze” look? Love Will’s variety of cute expressions!! GS

The only problem with taking awesome pictures all the time is that you aren’t in them! I LOVE these pictures SOOOOO MUCH!!!!! I’m trying to figure out how to save them onto a CD so that I can print them. You look so stunningly beautiful. That cousin of mine is one lucky man.
My favorite is the one where you’re looking at Nate and Will is giving that adorable look to the camera. Oh, I can’t pick a favorite. They all give me a smile. I love how natural they all look. You can really tell that Will looks up to Nate and that Nate is in turn, very nurturing to Will.
I absolutely adore that proud look of motherly joy on your face. I’ve seen that look, look forced in pictures before… but there is no denying that you love those boys over the stars and the moon when you smile at them. It actually makes me a little teary eyed. I am so lucky to have someone like you who not only rejoices in motherhood, but who also conveys the rewards and empowerment that becoming a mom is capable of giving.
You do it with such grace, beauty, and a quiet strength that I have never seen before. I am so lucky to have you to call on when I get stuck or scared or overwhelmed. I LOVE YOU DEARLY!!!
Not to mention, you guys are the most attractive family, like, EVER!!!!
